Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• One account per person - multiple accounts are prohibited
• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Keep your password secure and confidential

Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You may not transfer or sell your account

✓ Acceptable Behavior

• Professional and respectful communication
• Sharing knowledge and constructive feedback
• Honest representation of skills and experience
• Respecting others' privacy and boundaries
• Reporting violations of these guidelines

✗ Prohibited Behavior

• Harassment, bullying, or threatening other users
• Posting hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content
• Spam, excessive self-promotion, or commercial solicitation
• Sharing false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonating others or creating fake profiles
• Scraping, data mining, or automated access without permission
• Sharing explicit, adult, or inappropriate content
• Attempting to hack, breach security, or exploit vulnerabilities

Mentor Responsibilities

• Provide guidance within your areas of expertise
• Respond to mentees in a timely manner
• Maintain professional boundaries
• Clearly communicate availability and expectations

Mentee Responsibilities

• Be clear about your goals and expectations
• Respect your mentor's time and expertise
• Follow through on commitments and tasks
• Provide honest feedback and reviews

Cooldown Period

To prevent spam and ensure quality mentorship requests:

• 12-hour waiting period between mentorship requests
• Requests expire after 7 days if not accepted
• Only one active mentorship per mentee at a time

Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you create
• You grant Menteo a license to display and distribute your content
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to content you share

Respect Intellectual Property

• Do not post copyrighted material without permission
• Give proper attribution when sharing others' work
• Report copyright violations to our team

Violation Consequences

Violations of these conditions may result in:

• Warning: First-time minor violations
• Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations
• Permanent Ban: Severe or repeated serious violations
• Legal Action: Criminal activity or serious harm
